Talk about influence.
Talk about consistency.
Talk about (genuine) thought leadership, and the continued evolution of ideas
How Seth Godin changed the game, one post at a time.
According to the newsletter ‘Fair Share‘, published by the collaborative book publishing company Authors Equity, today marks the day that bestselling author Seth Godin published his 10,000th blog post.
In an article, it’s noted that:
“This milestone marks 25 years of daily writing that has generated 2 billion views and 3 million words. It’s the embodiment of the Permission Marketing revolution he (Godin) introduced in 1999 that transformed how creators and businesses connect with audiences.”
Talk about legacy!
I’m an unabashed Seth fan. Having started blogging back in 2007, I was drawn to his simply-formatted blog (on the old Typepad platform, if I’m not mistaken) and gained considerable inspiration from his words.
I still do today.
I regularly read his blog posts, and still buy his books.
I remember seeing Seth years ago, live on stage at the Museum of Sydney – I was amazed at how he spoke for most of the day, and took questions en masse from the large crowd. He must’ve been cognitively exhausted by the end of it!
